God's Warning To Christians Who Don’t Evangelize

God is disappointed with this sense of apathy and laziness, Christians have submersed themselves in when it comes to spreading the Gospel. For some reason, a lot of Christians don’t spread the word of God and it’s causing so many souls to be lost to hell. Romans 10:14-15 states, “How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? As it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!” How can the people begin to know about Jesus if the Christians aren’t telling them?

Part of the reason is most Christians don't know the word of God like they should. If you asked them to turn to three scriptures in the bible describing Jesus, they couldn't do it. 2 Timothy 2:15 states, "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." When we stay well-versed in the bible, it enables us to be ready at any moment to share the gospel. Opportunities such as these are never a convenience. It is worth noting a student in school who studies constantly is never worried about pop quizzes or tests.

What is God's plan for salvation on earth?

2 Peter 3:9 KJV states,"The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." God desires for everyone on earth to come to repentance and be saved by his blood. I emphasize "EVERYONE." You must ask yourself "Would I even be a Christian right now if someone didn't teach me the gospel? The answer is no you wouldn't. What if the person who taught you about Jesus decided not to evangelize due to time inconvenience? You wouldn't be Christian right now and it's a strong possibility you would've been destined for hellfire. If you love Jesus and what he's done through salvation, then you must share it with someone else. John 21:17 states, “He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.”

There's a warning God gives Christians who are too lazy to evangelize Christ. Ezekiel 3:18 states,"When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand." Imagine approaching God's throne room after your life is finished, you then proceed to tell him you made it. Imagine God responding with "did you bring anyone with you?" What would you say then? Not spreading the Gospel of Christ is a form of shaming him. Luke 9:26 states,"For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels." If you've been dealing with this issue, please fix it now and start fresh.
