I was at work coming off a lunch break and decided to eat my apple when I returned to my desk. I had a muffin that would accompany my apple. I finally reached my desk and sat down. I had my muffin unwrapped with a paper plate containing a fork and knife in hand. I took a bite of my muffin, which was really good. I then took a bite of the apple to add some texture to the muffin taste in my mouth. To my amazement, the apple was rotten on the inside. This disappointed me because the apple looked good on the outside as I washed it in the employee breakroom. Then the spirit of the lord spoke to me, I could see Jesus looking at me through the imagination of my mind. Jesus stated this is the condition of most Christians on earth. They dress up nice in religion, but on the inside, they lack the purity of my righteousness. Matthew 7:16-20 states, "16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them." Jesus stated the lives of humankind are like fruits presented to me amid my throneroom. What frustrates me the most is when fruit presented to me seems appealing until I take a bite there of. I instantly spit it out and began to question the angels of its origin. Spoiled fruit should never be presented before me as who would give spoiled fruit for their king to eat in time of hunger?

It pains me that my people are more concerned with an outward fashion of religion than having a true relationship with me. My word says in Matthew 6:21, "For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also." My people don't treasure a relationship with me like they should. The works of their life reflect this poor condition. As a result, my people continue to leave a bad taste in my mouth. My word says in Revelation 3:16, "So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth." Jesus is calling humanity, especially Christians to live a completely holy life. This is the only way to prevent us from yielding fruits spoiled on the inside. What do you think the fruit of your life tastes like to Jesus? Would you let him eat it? Only by following God's commandments written in his holy bible can we maintain healthy fruit on our trees of life. Matthew 21:19 states, "And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward forever. And presently the fig tree withered away."Jesus came across a fig tree in which he desired to taste its fruit. He found it fruitless, which disappointed him. It's dangerous for Jesus to be disappointed in our tree of life. As we read in this scripture the tree ended up being cursed due to not fulfilling its purpose of creation. God revealed to me this represents many whose life ends on earth to enter God's judgment. Some bore rotten fruit and some did not at all. It's a sin to ignore God's word and purpose for you while on earth. Matthew 7:19 confirms you will be cut off from God for all eternity and thrown in hell's fire. Matthew 21:19 confirms being cut off is an eternal curse that many will suffer for disobeying God in this life. We must remember Jesus is the just judge of our fruit. Will your tree be ready if he decides to come by and taste its fruits? Will he find it rotten? Will he find any at all?
